Canine Tracking Training

Dogs trained in this field of work learn the essential skills to aid in the efforts of police forces, search and rescue teams, and hunters.

From teaching and lecturing on this subject, to practicing this work for the Winnipeg Police Service for over 28 years- Dave Bessason, owner of ProK9, is an industry leader in this area.

At ProK9, we offer both one-on-one training for handlers interested in training their dogs in tracking, as well offer training in a group session format.

Group classes are capped at 6 dogs per session and run once a week for 4 weeks with each class lasting up to 2 hours in duration. After each class, you will be provided with feedback on both your skills as a handler as well as the skills of your canine. The areas outlined as needing improvement should be worked on before the next class.

Please note: tracking classes run from the Spring until the Fall as this type of training is dependent on the availability of grass.

For more information including pricing and class schedules, please contact us and we will respond as soon as possible.
